RE: Vermont help

don't know of any ghost towns there are a lot of twisting roads following rivers and mountains depending on where your going,it can be hot and humid like the south like it is right now but hasnt hit the 90s yet here.but not so much at the end of summer it can get pretty cool in the mountains at night real hot summers dont last to long around here, last of june and july are the worst and by the end of august it starts cooling down.by the end of sept it can get pretty cool sometimes.you never know around here, lots of back and side roads to travel on.other then the main highways think you will find theres not a lot of traffic in vt.most people traveling are going thru vt to someplace else.theres not a lot to do there other then camping and the small shops, its a pretty laid back place in most of the areas, they have some great fresh farm products there and country stores.

RE: Saratoga Sprngs Area Camping & NY

school starts first week in sept, august still is a busy month here, saratoga is 30 min or so from lake georage area on I-87,finding a parking spot near the race track is not easy you would need to get there real early in the morning to find a spot, campgrounds fill up anywhere near the track all the way up to exit 17 or so during raceings busy season at times, theres a lot of campsites to choose from near lake george are and plenty to do and see there, lake champlain is pretty quite and 50 and more miles north of lake george going all the way to the border with canada not much going on up there except for some old forts and musuems and site seeing there is campgrounds on lake champlain,

RE: Rodents in storage yard

I think ground hogs are vegetarians, but porcupines have been known to chew on just about anything that has had any salt on it like rubber tires , power cords or wood. they ate the handles off our boat ores that had sweat on them.

RE: Weather Whimps, Surviving Thunder & Lightning

being in the rv trees are your biggest enemy falling on you if your between to large rvs maybe they would take the hit first, been in storms befor no problems the chance of trees falling on the rv would be what i would worry about most.

RE: Air Conditioner NOT FIXED

how can they charge you for a repair when nothing was wrong with the one they said they worked on to begin with, they must have checked it first to see if there was a problem ,sounds more like a rip off to me.you would think they would have called you at least to double check with you since it worked.
